RIP ANN MCKENNA

Our thoughts and wishes to the family and friends of Ann McKenna who passed away this morning.

She played for the St Albans Cricket Club and represented Canterbury from 1961/62 - 1987/88 with a high score of 194* and played 7 Tests for New Zealand with a high score of 97*.

McKenna coached New Zealand at the 1993 and 1997 Women's Cricket World Cups, with the team finishing as runners-up on both occasions.

The Magicians and Blaze will be wearing black armbands today in her memory.
